Data Delivery Lead
We’re On the Beach! Since 2003, we've been rewriting the rules of how people discover, book, and experience their perfect getaway. What started as connecting people to short-haul beach holidays has evolved into something much bigger - premium beach destinations, long-haul adventures, and vibrant city breaks – and that’s just the beginning of our story.
We send around two million holidaymakers on their dream breaks every year. And we're still growing.
Ready to build the future of travel with us?
About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Delivery Manager to join our team as an individual contributor, owning and orchestrating the successful delivery of our data initiatives. This is a high-impact role focused on delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment and portfolio coordination.
You’ll sit at the centre of our Data function, partnering closely with Engineering, Analytics, Product and Business stakeholders to ensure we deliver the right outcomes, in the right way, at the right time.
Powered by our deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit, proprietary tech, curiosity and our incredible people, we’re accelerating - delivering best in class technology, the ultimate holiday app, and experiences that keep our customers coming back for more.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience delivering complex data or technology initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in agile environments
A structured, pragmatic approach to delivery and risk management
Confidence translating between technical and business domains
Strong organisational skills and comfort managing ambiguity
Experience using delivery metrics to drive performance
A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without authority
What you’ll be doing day to day
Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
Act as the primary liaison between Data teams and business stakeholders
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical work
Communicate constraints, trade-offs and feasibility to non-technical audiences
Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, timelines and outcomes
Provide leadership through influence, driving clarity and alignment across teams
Contribute to long-term roadmap and capacity planning across the Data portfolio
Delivery & Ways of Working
Lead multiple concurrent data initiatives from inception to deployment
Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies and resource allocation
Identify and mitigate delivery risks, removing blockers to maintain momentum
Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote effective ways of working
Maintain transparent reporting through documentation, dashboards and stakeholder updates
Track key delivery metrics (e.g. velocity, cycle time, throughput, quality) to drive continuous improvement
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to agreed quality standards
You will be accountable for delivery clarity, predictability and measurable impact across the Data function.
Technical Understanding
Develop a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, architecture and the data lifecycle
Work confidently with delivery tooling (e.g. Jira)
Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies and technical standards
Oversee third-party tools and partner integrations where required
While not a hands-on engineering role, a solid appreciation of modern data platforms and engineering practices is essential.
What to expect from our interview process
We’ll run a multiple stage interview process, one stage of which may be an in-person interview at our fabulous Aeroworks office in Manchester city centre.
We want to make sure everybody has the opportunity to perform at their best. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the interview process please let the Talent Acquisition team know and they will be happy to assist.
Ways of working
Our full time hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.
We also have hybrid working so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre. You’ll be in the office one day every two weeks, and you’re more than welcome to come in more if you’d like.
