The Opportunity

As one of the Product Manager’s in the back end systems team, and reporting into Senior Product Manager, Back end systems, you will be accountable for setting the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a part of our system. Your focus will be to work with the UX design, Research, Engineering and stakeholders to build, design and deploy improvements and updates supporting On the Beach ambitious growth plans.

You will be working on the following on a daily basis;

  • Collaborating across key functions and disciplines to set and deliver a clear, cohesive product strategy for your area.
  • Supporting your team to set clear goals and key results, regularly check in on progress, learn and adjust course when needed
  • Owning and prioritising your roadmap - managing trade-offs between impact, cost, time to market and business strategy
  • Combining your product management and industry experience with customer data insights to set hypotheses, test assumptions and breakdown complex problems into small steps
  • Building and sharing your deep understanding of user needs and pain points
  • Analysis of the market and competitors for trends and latest innovations
  • Collaborating closely with UX design & UX research to deliver a great customer experience
  • Where applicable you will mentor Junior Product Managers


About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and innovation, with a background in delivering. You’ll be hands on, used to working in an agile environments and find dealing with trade-offs/cost vs benefit analysis a breeze. You will be able to balance lean-style MVP experimental work with focused iteration and know when to employ different approaches in product management to get the best outcome.

Remote Working

Currently we are working remotely. In the future our primary place of work will be our Aeroworks office in the centre of Manchester. However, after a successful switch to remote working due to the covid crisis, flexible remote working opportunities are available; please discuss with the hiring manager during your application.
