Your Journey with On The Beach Development Academy

Earning a full salary from day 1 you will take part in a 5 weeks intensive training program split between classroom training and homework set by the coach. You can expect to spend most of your time programming, discussing and reflecting on a programming task you’ve just completed, or presenting your own research about a topic to the group. You will work on your expertise around object oriented design and patterns, habitual use of TDD/BDD, service-orientated architecture, habitual use of Git, including branching, merging, rebasing and use of pull requests for code review, whilst being taught elements of the Ruby language syntax and tooling ecosystem.

After completing your 5 weeks intensive training, you will kick start your career as a Junior  software engineer enabling you to learn about our stack, and the languages that sit within it. Throughout your journey, you will always have your graduate buddy and lead mentor by your side to help and assist you.
