UX Researcher

On the Beach sends over 1.5M people on their perfect beach holiday every year, but we're only just getting started.  Our multi-award winning technology team has just relocated to a multi-million pound bespoke facility in the heart of Manchester and has ambitions to become Europe's leading online retailer of beach holidays. If you would like to join this journey, we are looking for a top-notch UX Researcher to join us.

Join Our Team

You will add context and insight to the process of designing award winning user experiences. You gather information from users in a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, contextual inquiries, diary studies, personas, card sorting, and usability testing. You will eliminate guesswork and act as an oracle for all things On the Beach. Here, UX Researchers have the opportunity to help dictate the product roadmap.

About You

You love data. Whether its numbers or a mixture of user anecdotes and feelings, you know how to turn complex information into easy to understand insight that drives innovation and change. You feel comfortable in both creating and managing your own workload and don’t need your hand holding. You are happiest presenting your latest findings to a group of stakeholders and then working collaboratively as they turn them into living designs.

  • Very strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to assess data
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with natural ability to articulate and defend your recommendations
