IT Support Engineer

What will the role entail?

  • 1st/2nd Line Support configuration administration
  • Carry out a wide range of fixes including but not limited to account unlocks, mailbox queries, password resets
  • Dealing with queries in an appropriate manner, providing support where possible or escalating to appropriate team
  • Continuously improve efficiency and quality of service
  • Provide regular updates to colleagues on their queries

Essential Experience

  • Experience with MS Windows
  • Very strong communication skills: Both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Passion for Technology / Tech hobbyist
  • Co-operates and works well with others
  • Reacts positively to changing demands
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Methodical, logical and flexible approach
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Ability to research problems and provide solutions
  • The role requires someone that will be comfortable working closely with all levels of the business.

Hours

  • Full time (37.5 hpw)
  • Hours - 8.5 hours inc 1 hour lunch, Mon – Fri
