As part of our rapid expansion into Europe, On the Beach is recruiting for a Swedish Speaking Customer Advisor with Scandinavian language skills. The position has a starting salary of £17,000 rising to £19,000 for exceptional performers and is based in our new office in central Manchester, a short distance from Piccadilly station. The candidate must be fluent in Swedish, and have good English both written and spoken since we are also dealing with UK overflow when needed. The candidate should ideally have previous sales and customer service experience.
On the International department, we deal with all aspects of the business but in a smaller scale. The goal is to provide the same services the UK customers get from OTB, but in Swedish and/or Norwegian. Our agents handle both Swedish and Norwegian queries from customers that want to book a holiday, want to confirm a pending order or have a general query about their booking either over the phone or on email/messages. We also deal with issues customers have while in resort and also potential operational issues such as hotel and flight changes. We also deal with complaints that customers might have after they have returned from their holiday
Swedish Speaking Customer Advisor role will entail?
= Working towards daily/monthly booking and conversion targets whilst continuing to offer a 1st class customer service to customers.
= Keeping product and brand knowledge up to date while having an in depth knowledge relating to our portfolio of destinations and supplier products.
= Shows determination by ensuring performance and conduct is in line with performance measures and targets while having the ability to work under pressure.
= Handling customer enquiries, bookings and payments in a professional manner.
= Offering excellent sales and customer service by dealing with any complaints in a calm and diplomatic way.
= Maximising profit opportunities when finalising bookings or making amendments.
= Takes responsibility for own personal development by seeking feedback from others and acting upon it.
= Enjoys talking to customers while working in a fun vibrant environment.
= Presents a number of solutions in order to balance the customer and the business’s needs.
